It’s never too early! Puppies can start basic training as early as 8 weeks old. At this stage, focus on simple commands like “sit” and “come,” as well as potty training and socialization.
Keep training sessions short and fun—about 5-10 minutes for younger puppies. Puppies have short attention spans, so frequent, bite-sized sessions work best.
Consistency is key. Establish a routine by taking your puppy outside frequently, especially after eating, drinking, and waking up. Reward them with praise and treats when they go in the right spot.
